Our Beginning
Petty Line Construction was established in 1976 by Billy & Barbara Petty and their son Edwin Petty. The company began by doing power line construction for local cooperatives. After a few years in business they began doing industrial electrical and instrumentation. Following the passing of Billy Petty in 1985 his son Edwin became president of the company. With the addition of Bryan Petty and Courtney Petty Burke it is now run by three generations of the Petty family. Petty Line currently maintains 80-100 employees and is licensed to work in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
